Václav Havel Airport Terminal 1 Customs Enforcement Rules

Green Channel (Zelený pruh)

For passengers with goods strictly within €430 allowance, tobacco/alcohol quotas, and under €10k cash. Walking through constitutes a legal declaration of zero liability.

Red Channel (Červený pruh)

Mandatory if goods exceed €430, quotas are exceeded, commercial samples are carried, or cash ≥ €10,000. Officers calculate duty and issue a stamped receipt.

Non-Pooling Rule

Allowances cannot be pooled for single indivisible items. An €800 laptop carried by a couple cannot be split into two €400 allowances; full duty and VAT apply to the surplus.
