Statutory Rule: Section 3b of the Czech Local Fees Act

Under Act No. 565/1990 Coll. § 3b odst. 1 písm. a), persons under 18 years of age are completely exempt from the Prague tourist stay tax. Accommodations cannot legally demand a city tax on children. Furthermore, providers must issue an official itemized receipt on request (§ 11).
