Operating a drone in central Prague (Praha 1 / Praha 2) falls under protected airspace and dense urban zones. Unlawful UAV flight without ÚCL pilot registration, certified specific category approval, and municipality consent carries fines up to 5,000,000 CZK under Act No. 49/1997 Coll.

Submit an official application to the Technical Administration of Communications (TSK Praha, a.s.) specifying the exact GPS coordinates, square meter area, equipment list, and duration. TSK issues a preliminary consent and lease contract.
Bring the TSK contract along with your project description, site floorplan, and 1,000 CZK administrative fee receipt to the Municipal Office of Prague 1 (*Úřad městské části Praha 1, Vodičkova 18*). By law, they require up to 30 days for processing.
For larger productions, brand campaigns, or indie films, register with the Prague Film Commission (*Prague City Tourism*). They act as a free institutional liaison to accelerate permits between municipal departments and the police.
Keep hard copies of your stamped permit, TSK payment confirmation, and identification on set at all times. Prague Municipal Police (*Městská policie*) routinely inspect filming crews in Prague 1 and will verify dimensions down to the exact meter.
